Certificate in Aviation Management

A Pass in the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) for mature applicants (26 years or older) AND 1) Three (3) years as a licensed aircraft maintenance engineers/pilots/traffic control officers under GCCA, actively involved in aviation maintenance, supervision or senior capacity in Aviation Industry. 2) Must have knowledge and understanding of Guyana Civil Aviation Regulations (GCARs) 3) Good oral and written communication skills 4) Demonstrate proficiency in English Language and Mathematics by providing any certificate of attendance to the level of CSEC/GCE 'O' Levels 5) A written portfolio will be needed 6) Two (2) recommendation letters: one from applicant's organization

Associate of Science Applied and Exploration Geology

Mature applicants (26 years and over), who do not possess the stipulated academic qualifications can be considered for admission, provided they possess relevant technical qualifications and experience. Such applicants will be required to pass the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE)

Associate of Science Architectural and Building Technology

Mature applicants who do not possess the stipulated academic qualification but who possess relevant skills and experience and are interested in entering the programme must pass the UGEE and submit a portfolio of prior learning which demonstrates their competence to undertake the course of studies leading to the degree. All mature applicants must attend a face-to-face interview in person or via skype/zoom.

Associate of Science Civil Engineering

Mature applicants [26 years and over in the year of admission] with the relevant technical experience who have passed the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) are eligible for admission into the programme.

Associate of Science Electrical Engineering

Mature applicants (26 years and over in the year of admission) with the relevant technical experience who have passed the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE)

Associate of Science Mechanical Engineering

Mature applicants (26 years and over in the year of admission) with the relevant technical qualifications and experience who have passed the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) are eligible for admission into the programme.

Associate of Science Industrial Engineering

Mature applicants (26 years and over) with at least one year's relevant technical experience who have passed the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE)

Associate of Science Mining Engineering

Mature applicants (26 years and over), who do not possess the stipulated academic qualifications may be considered for admission, provided they possess relevant Technical qualifications and experience. Such applicants will be required to pass the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE)

Associate of Science Petroleum Engineering

Mature applicants (26 years and over in the year of admission) with the relevant technical qualifications and experience and who have passed the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) are eligible for admission into the programme and will be required to submit a Portfolio of their existing experience.

Bachelor of Engineering Applied and Exploration Geology

Mature applicants (26 years and over), who do not possess the stipulated academic qualifications may be considered for admission, provided they possess relevant technical qualification and experience. Such applicants will be required to pass the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE)
